The game was down 30% from Game 2 of the 2006 NBA Finals, which drew an 8.0 final rating and 12.4 million viewers.
The series finale of The Sopranos drew 11.9 million viewers.
So far, the 2007 NBA Finals is averaging a 6.0 rating, up only 3% over the 5.8 average rating for the first two games of the 2003 NBA Finals, currently the lowest rated NBA Finals ever. That two-game 6.0 rating is down 24% from the 7.9 average rating for the first two games of last year’s NBA Finals.
