- Wisconsin’s upset victory over then-undefeated #1 Ohio State earned a 2.0 U.S. rating and 2.966 million viewers on ESPN last Saturday afternoon, the network’s second-most viewed game of the season, behind only Duke/Michigan State in December (2.0, 3.002M). (Sports Business Daily, ESPN)
- The February 9 North Carolina/Duke game drew a 1.5 U.S. rating and 2.367 million viewers on ESPN, up a tick in ratings and up 6% in viewership from their first matchup last year (DUKE/UNC: 1.4, 2.267M), but down 33% and 28%, respectively, from their first meeting in ’09 (UNC/DUKE: 2.1, 3.269M).
