Wednesday’s Canadiens/Bruins Game 7 drew a 17.7 rating on NESN in the Boston market, the highest rating ever for a Bruins telecast on the network. The rating shatters the previous record of 14.1 set by Hurricanes/Bruins Game 7 in 2009.
Ratings peaked at a whopping 26.6 from 10:00-10:15 PM local time.
The Bruins/Canadiens series averaged an 11.9 on NESN, making it the highest rated playoff series ever on the network. The previous record was 9.9, set by Hurricanes/Bruins in 2009.
