Host T.J. Rives returns with Jon Lewis of Sports Media watch to go over just how good the numbers were for the Tide’s narrow win on Fox over the Longhorns? Also, how did it compare to primetime matchups already this year? Jon also has insight on the excellent start to the NFL season for drama on the field with last second finishes in Cincinnati, Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston and Nashville. How did those ratings stack up for CBS and Fox?
Jon also has thoughts on the long anticipated debut of the new Monday Night Football crew of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on ESPN. It was weird to see and hear them on a new network. What were the guys thoughts on it all?
Then, a conversation with documentary filmmaker Michael Doneger on his new feature called “Fate of a Sport” detailing the rise of a new competitive league of professional lacrosse known as the Premier Lacrosse League. It chronicles arguably the sport’s biggest name in Paul Rabil organizing a new start up league for better money and benefits, etc. for the players. Doneger details it all to us. ESPN will air the documentary Thursday night and ABC will show it Sunday afternoon prior to the PLL wrap up to the season.
Finally, T.J. and Jon are back with more “Love it or Leave it?” They will cover subjects like the U.S. Open final results and ratings, the WNBA championship series and even, corn dogs as lunch item, etc.??
