The increasingly bitter battle between the NFL Network, beginning its carriage of NFL games a week from Thursday, and cable companies has now attracted the attention of Congress. Not the awesome, spectacular 110th Congress coming in January, but the stale, corrupt, lame-duck God-awful 109th Congress.
Why this is any of Washington’s business is beyond me. Personally, I’d worry more about the doing of Congressional pages than the doings of the National Football League.
