No surprise here: USA Today’s Michael Hiestand reports that the MLS Cup on ABC got less than a 1.0 rating, despite the relatively surprising amount of ads for the event. Memo to ESPN: promote the league all season long or don’t do it at all.
Also, and far more interesting: FOX beat NBC on Sunday with Saints/Steelers. Flex scheduling may not be the be-all and end-all Ebersol and NBC Sports would have you believe.
