- Rumor apparently has it that the NHL is looking to add ESPN2 to its Versus/NBC deal; Versus would air games on Mondays and Tuesdays, while ESPN2 would air games on Thursdays or Fridays.

- ESPN embarrassed itself with its overpromotion of the “We Are Marshall” movie, which included Matthew McConaughey introducing segments on SportsCenter. With all that work for a Warner Bros. film, one only has to fear what will happen the next time Disney/Touchstone releases a sports movie.
