Total viewers for the All Star games of the four major sports:
- 14,424,000: 2006 MLB All Star Game (FOX; broadcast television)
- 6,983,000: 2007 Pro Bowl (CBS; broadcast television)
- 6,843,000: 2007 NBA All Star Game (TNT; cable television)
- 672,948: 2007 NHL All Star Game (Versus; cable television)
Major League Baseball’s All Star Game has more total viewers than the Pro Bowl, NBA All Star Game and NHL All Star Game combined. While the NBA All Star Game trails the Pro Bowl by nearly 150,000 viewers, that is more a result of the Pro Bowl being on broadcast television and the NBA All Star Game being on cable. Last year’s Pro Bowl trailed the NBA All Star Game 4.3 to 3.7 in television ratings when both events aired on cable.
