- Jay Crawford and Woody Paige: Accused of sexually harassing former Cold Pizza make-up artist Rita Ragone, who is now suing ESPN and Atlantic Video for firing her after she complained to superiors. Ragone says “Paige, a columnist with The Denver Post, repeatedly made vulgar remarks about her appearance. Crawford, she said, made unwanted sexual advances, told her she only got the job because of her looks, and contributed to a locker-room atmosphere by making disparaging remarks about another hair stylist.” ESPN, Crawford, Paige and Atlantic Video deny the accusations.
- Kay Yow: The North Carolina State women’s basketball coach will receive the first Jimmy V ESPY for Perseverance. Yow battled cancer as she led the Wolfpack deep into the NCAA Tournament.
- Ray Evernham: The NASCAR team owner will host Race Wizard with Ray Evernham on ESPN2, starting July 7. The show will “will provide racing fans an entertaining look at the intriguing technical aspects and little-known inner-workings of motorsports and racing.”
