From the Houston Chronicle:
Several publications reported last week that the NBA was close to an agreement with both networks that would continue through 2015. Both recently completed the fifth year of six-year agreements ? $2.4 billion for Disney and $2.2 billion for Turner, which also received a minority share in NBA TV that will expire after the 2007-2008 season.
The new agreements are expected to grant both networks the rights to show game highlights and other NBA video content on broadband and mobile platforms.”
More on the television deal when it is announced officially.
