Keith Olbermann is “very torn” as to whether or not to continue on ESPN Radio, hosting what was The Dan Patrick Show by himself. According to the L.A. Daily News, ESPN has offered the hosting gig to Olbermann.
Should Olbermann move to ESPN Radio, it would mark a relatively surprising comeback by the former SportsCenter anchor, who left ESPN in rather ugly fashion. Hosting an ESPN Radio show would be his third role, behind Countdown on MSNBC and Football Night in America on NBC.
Meanwhile, one of the reasons Patrick wanted to leave ESPN may have been because the network is “prepared to name Stuart Scott as his replacement on the ABC NBA studio show“. ESPN/ABC has not announced anything in regards to Scott replacing Patrick, though it seems to be the most likely scenario now that Patrick has departed the network.
