3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday.
2.9/7: PGA Tour on CBS, AT&T National Final Round
1.2/3: U.S. Senior Open on NBC, Final Round
1.0: IRL on ABC, Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix
- Thanks again, Tiger: PGA Tour coverage on CBS was up 45% from the comparable Cialis Western Open on ABC last year. The 2.9 does not seem overly impressive until one considers just how poor ratings for golf events have been in recent weeks.
Saturday ratings.
2.8/8: Wimbledon final, V. Williams def. Bartoli
2.8/7: MLB on FOX, Angels/Yankees
2.0/5: PGA Tour on CBS, AT&T National Third Round
1.1/3: U.S. Senior Open on NBC, Third Round
- Wimbledon coverage was up 27% from last year, thanks in large part to a Women’s Final that featured one of the Williams sisters. Still, the 2.8 overnight is down 30% from the 4.0 overnight the 2005 Wimbledon final, which featured Serena Williams versus Maria Sharapova, drew.
- Baseball on FOX fell a relatively hefty 15% from the 3.3 overnight drawn on the comparable date last year.
