- Bill Clement: Has gone from hosting NHL coverage on NBC and Versus to being out of a job. NBC replaced him with Pierre McGuire, while Versus dumped him in favor of Bill Patrick. Whether Clement will contribute in any fashion to U.S. NHL coverage next season is unknown.
- Jason Whitlock: The Kansas City Star writer has left AOL Sports for FOXSports.com. Writing columns that claim to offer “unbiased, agenda-less opinions“, he debuted today with a piece that, among other things, called an article written by Michael Wilbon an “an embarrassment to The [Washington] Post“.
- Dan Patrick: Will host The Dan Patrick Show for the final time tomorrow; Patrick was originally to host his show all week, but only returned to ESPN Radio on Wednesday. Since his return, Patrick scored one of the few interviews with NBA Commissioner David Stern post-Donaghy.
