Heading into the FedEx Cup, and coming off of a week that saw the WNBA game on ABC draw a bigger rating among men 18-49 than the Final Round of the Wyndham Championship, here are the ratings for every PGA Tour event this year.
Ratings for events on cable are national ratings, unless otherwise noted; coverage area ratings, which measure the amount of households watching out of the amount of households with access to the cable channel, are higher.
Excluding majors and rained out/suspended events, CBS is averaging a 2.3 rating for final round coverage, while NBC is averaging a 2.4. When events in which Tiger Woods played are not included, CBS and NBC are both averaging a 1.9 rating. Events in which Tiger Woods played averaged a 3.1 rating, excluding majors, and a 4.1 rating when majors are included.
