- Dan Patrick: The former ESPN Radio host will begin his new nationally syndicated gig with The Content Factory on October 1. The Dan Patrick Show will begin at 9:00 AM each day, several hours earlier than his former program.
- Kenny Smith: The TNT and MSG NBA analyst has been tabbed by Yahoo! Sports to replace the departed Steve Kerr as lead NBA writer.
- Jamie Foxx: The actor will be featured in a “special tease” prior to the start of the Patriots/Bengals Monday Night Football game on ESPN October 1. The tease “plays off the FBI agent role Foxx plays in the [The Kingdom], as he attempts to break into a secure facility that houses the secrets behind the Patriots and Bengals explosive offensives.” Whether ESPN should be depicting someone surreptitiously attempting to figure out an NFL team’s plays so soon after “spygate” remains to be seen.
