The Division Series may have been short, but it was very good to TBS. MLB Division Series games made up nine of the top twelve television programs on cable last week (and if one includes the NL one-game playoff last Monday, that number increases to ten of the top thirteen).
Through Sunday, TBS is averaging 5.4 million viewers for the MLB playoffs, “up 12% from comparable coverage on ESPN and Fox last year, including the over-the-air simulcasts of games on ESPN“. The 8.5 million viewers for Indians/Yankees Game 3 is the most ever for a Division Series game on cable (ratings and total viewers are currently unavailable for Indians/Yankees Game 4 Monday night).
Presented here are the ratings for every Division Series game on TBS this year. All ratings are final national ratings, unless specified.
