Fans watching the WNBA season opener may have been surprised by one of the game’s sponsors.
The starting line-ups for the Mercury/Sparks game on ABC were presented by AOL’s The Fanhouse. The Fanhouse is one of the most popular and mainstream blogs, having recently won the Best Sports Blog award from Editor & Publisher and MediaWeek.
The Fanhouse also got exposure through courtside rotational signage at U.S. Airways Arena, the site of the game.
