- After a 17% jump for third round coverage on Saturday, ratings for the U.S. Women’s Open dropped 16% for Sunday’s final round. While this marks the fourth straight year the event outdrew a PGA Tour event on the same weekend, the 1.6 overnight rating is the lowest for final round coverage since 2001, and is half of the 3.2 rating for the final round three years ago.
- It was a bad weekend for golf all around. Ratings for the Buick Open dropped 17% on Saturday and 12% on Sunday.

- Big market crosstown rivalries helped give baseball on FOX a solid boost. Regional action featuring either Yankees/Mets or Cubs/White Sox drew a 3.2/8 overnight on Saturday afternoon, up 19% from a 2.7 for a slate of non-interleague match-ups last year.
- The 1.5 overnight for NASCAR Nationwide Series racing on ABC is flat from last year.
