Last Saturday’s Army/Navy game drew a 2.0/5 final rating on CBS, down 9% from a 2.2 in ’07. The 2.0 rating is the lowest ever for the Army/Navy game. Since 1999, ratings for the Army/Navy game have fallen 61%.
Next year, ratings figure to increase, as the Army/Navy game will be moved to the second Saturday in December, the weekend after college football’s Conference Championships.
