CBS drew a 15.4/27 final rating and 25.5 million viewers for Patriots/Steelers or Broncos/Jets on Sunday, up 12% and 16% from a 13.8/26 and 22.1 million for Giants/Bears on FOX in ’07.
The 25.5 million viewers is the most for an NFL telecast this season, edging September’s head-to-head matchup between the Patriots and Jets, which drew 25.4 million. The two most viewed NFL telecasts of the year have both aired on CBS.
