A familiar face is returning to ESPN, less than a year after leaving.
Former ESPN NHL analyst Barry Melrose, who left the network over the summer to become the coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, is returning to ESPN after being fired from the team in November.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Melrose has a new three year deal with ESPN, where he will presumably share time with Matthew Barnaby — who ESPN hired to replace Melrose after his departure.
