CBS drew solid numbers for its national NFL game on Sunday.
Regional coverage, featuring the Steelers’ close victory over the Ravens, drew a 15.3/29 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 5% from a 16.1/29 for last year’s comparable Eagles/Cowboys game on FOX.
The 15.3 overnight is the ninth-best of the season for an NFL game, and the third best for a game on CBS.
Perhaps the Steelers can make an argument that they too are ‘America’s team’; so far this season, the Steelers account for five of the ten highest overnights for NFL games, the same as the Dallas Cowboys.
