Charles Barkley has had a less than ideal weekend.
The TNT NBA analyst is in the midst of a three-day jail sentence for driving under the influence. Barkley began his stay in Phoenix’s “Tent City” jail on Saturday, and even held a wide-ranging news conference alongside Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Barkley was out on work release from 8 AM-8 PM on Sunday, with the same schedule set for Monday.
Originally, Barkley was sentenced to ten days in jail.
While Barkley’s sentence is no doubt an embarrassment for his employers at TNT, it has served as fodder for TNT corporate siblings CNN and TMZ, with the former covering Barkley’s Saturday press conference.
