Next season, Monday Night Countdown could have fans in Detroit searching for the remote.
According to the website Deadspin, ESPN is set to hire Matt Millen as an NFL analyst for the upcoming season. Millen will replace Emmitt Smith on Monday Night Countdown, joining Stuart Scott and Steve Young on-site from Monday night games.
Millen previously served as an NFL analyst for CBS and FOX, and was recently a guest analyst on NBC during the network’s coverage of the NFL playoffs.
