- Bob Rosburg: The longtime ABC Sports golf reporter died last Thursday at age 82. Rosburg, who joined ABC in 1974, pioneered the now-common role of on-course reporter. Rosburg remained with ABC for over three decades.
- Mike Tirico: The ESPN personality is leaving ESPN Radio’s Tirico and Van Pelt Show, but will have an expanded role on a variety of ESPN properties. Tirico will host a weekly, two-hour college football radio show 22 weeks a year, and will also be a part of ESPN coverage of the World Cup, U.S. Open (tennis) and the Bowl Championship Series. Currently, Tirico also serves as the play-by-play voice of Monday Night Football on ESPN and the NBA Finals on ESPN Radio.
- Michael Strahan: The FOX NFL analyst will star in the new sitcom Brothers, set to debut on FOX this fall. Strahan will play Mike Trainor, a former NFL star who returns home and is scammed out of his money by his business manager. Strahan will be joined by former The Shield actress CCH Pounder and Rocky actor Carl Weathers.
