ESPN college football analyst Lee Corso is recovering from a minor stroke.
Corso, 73, “suffered no permanent damage,” and expects to be “back for the kickoff of the 2009 college football season.” Corso has been an analyst on College Gameday since the show’s 1987 debut.
In a statement, Corso called the stroke “a small bump in the road” and said he looks forward to “making a full recovery and returning to ESPN” for his 23rd season analyzing college football.
