- Paul Maguire: The ESPN/ABC college football analyst will have a reduced schedule this season. Maguire, 70, will call only “the occasional game,” and will “do some studio shows and radio.” Recently, Maguire has been part of ESPN/ABC’s #2 college football team alongside Brad Nessler and Bob Griese.
- Ken Rosenthal: The MLB on FOX reporter has joined MLB Network. Starting Tuesday, Rosenthal will join the MLB Tonight studio show and serve as a Baseball Insider on the network. Rosenthal will continue as a reporter for MLB on FOX and foxsports.com.
- Billy Mays: The infomercial king, perhaps best known to sports fans for his ESPN360.com ads, passed away on Sunday at the age of 50. The Mays-themed ESPN360 ad campaign, which began last December, has now been pulled.
