- Last Sunday’s IRL Corn Indy 250 drew a 0.8 final rating on ABC, down 27% from a 1.1 last year. So far this season, three IRL telecasts — including the Indianapolis 500 — have averaged a 1.8 rating on ABC, down 14% from last year’s 2.1. To put the 0.8 in perspective, Sunday’s F1 British Grand Prix drew a 0.6 final rating on FOX.
- Through the first five weeks, the Cowboy-themed reality show 4th and Long averaged 856,000 homes in its 10 PM Monday timeslot on Spike TV, with an additional 602,000 for the 12 AM edition. That equals “almost 1.46 million homes across the country … a massive number for Spike.”
- FOX drew a 1.5/4 final rating for MLB coverage last Saturday, down 12% from a 1.7 for coverage on the comparable date last year. In the past seven weeks, six MLB telecasts on FOX have failed to draw even a 2.0 rating.
