- Kevin Frazier: The Entertainment Tonight co-host, formerly of ESPN, will co-anchor coverage of the 2009 U.S. Open for Tennis Channel. Frazier and Lindsay Davenport will cover the event from Tennis Channel’s California headquarters.
- Charles Davis: The FOX college football analyst will call NFL games on the network during the upcoming 2009 NFL season. Davis will be paired with Dick Stockton on the third-string NFL on FOX broadcast team. Davis’ addition is just one of several changes FOX announced last week.
- Kenny Chesney and Faith Hill: The singers will play a big role in college and pro football broadcasts this year. Prior to college football game and studio telecasts on ESPN, Chesney will perform “This is Our Moment” — a song specifically written for ESPN college football coverage. Meanwhile, NBC has once again picked Hill to sing “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” prior to its Sunday Night Football telecasts.
