After a terrible start, overnight ratings for Notre Dame football bounced back on NBC.
Saturday’s Michigan State/Notre Dame game drew a 2.7 overnight rating on NBC, up 17% from a 2.3/5 overnight for the same matchup on NBC two years ago.
The 2.7 marks a 108% improvement over the 1.3 overnight NBC drew for Nevada/Notre Dame earlier in the season.
Despite the increase, Michigan State/Notre Dame was still down 33% compared to NBC’s second Notre Dame telecast last season — a 4.0 for Michigan/Notre Dame.
