CBS had yet another week of strong ratings for coverage of the SEC.
Saturday’s LSU/Alabama game drew a 4.4 overnight rating on CBS, even with last year’s comparable Georgia/Florida game. The 4.4 is the highest overnight of the season for a college football game on CBS that did not involve the Gators.
LSU/Alabama drew the highest overnight rating of the weekend for a college football game on broadcast, topping both games on ABC (3.8 and 4.0) and Navy/Notre Dame on NBC (2.3).
This is the second straight week, and the 4th time this season, that the SEC on CBS drew the weekend’s highest college football overnight on broadcast.
