A clash of AFC North rivals helped give CBS strong numbers on Sunday.
Sunday’s NFL singleheader, featuring the Bengals’ win over the Steelers, drew an 11.0 overnight on CBS — up 16% from a 9.5 for the comparable window last year, and up 8% from a 10.2 for the comparable window last week. Both of those telecasts aired on FOX.
The 11.0 overnight is the highest for the NFL singleheader since Week 6, when coverage featuring Giants/Saints drew an 11.9 on FOX.
