ESPN has made some changes to its NASCAR coverage.
Starting next season, Marty Reid will become the lap-by-lap announcer for NASCAR races on ESPN, replacing Dr. Jerry Punch. Punch, who had been the lap-by-lap announcer since ’07, will move to the position of pit reporter.
Reid will continue as the lap-by-lap announcer for ABC’s coverage of the IRL.
