Once the biggest sure thing among athlete endorsers, golfer Tiger Woods has lost another sponsor.
Gatorade announced on Friday that it will end its sponsorship agreement with Woods, three years into a five-year deal worth an estimated $100 million dollars. In a statement, a Gatorade spokesman said the company “no longer [saw] a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts.”
Previously, Accenture and AT&T ended their respective deals with Woods.
This comes one week after Woods made his first public statements about his much discussed marital infidelities.
