The curtain has come down on Joe Buck‘s talk show.
HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg confirmed to Broadcasting & Cable on Monday that Joe Buck Live has been canceled after just three episodes.
Greenburg told B&C that Buck is “one of the premier broadcasters in our industry,” adding that it was “a privilege to work with him at HBO.” Greenburg: “Joe worked tirelessly on the three shows, and we appreciate his professionalism and immense talent.”
Joe Buck Live premiered last June, making its nine-month run from premiere to cancellation the third-shortest for any talk show over the past year. Only The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, which ran for seven months, and The Jay Leno Show, which ran for five, had shorter runs.
