Controversial sports personality Jay Mariotti has been arrested on a felony charge.
Mariotti was arrested in Los Angeles early Saturday morning, following an undisclosed “domestic incident.” The Around The Horn and Fanhouse.com personality is “being held on $50,000 bail.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, Mariotti “allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend at a club in Santa Monica,” which continued “at the couple’s apartment in Venice, where some type of physical altercation allegedly occurred.”
ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz, in a statement: “We’ve just learned of it and are looking into it.”
