- Ratings Game: Final round coverage of The Wyndham Championship drew a 1.6 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 11% from last year (1.8), up 78% from 2008 (0.9) and up 23% from 2007 (1.3). Meanwhile, Saturday’s third round action drew a 1.0 overnight, up a tick from last year (0.9), up 43% from ’08 (1.7) and even with ’07 (1.0). (Sports Business Daily)
- Idle Note: The sports blog aggregator BallHype shut down on Monday, along with sister sites ShowHype and Daily Radar. This comes just over two years after both BallHype and ShowHype were acquired by Future US for $3 million, and just weeks after the site had undergone a major redesign.
