Ratings and viewership held generally steady for NASCAR’s April 30 race from Richmond.
FOX earned a 3.7 final rating and 6.138 million viewers for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Matthew and Daniel Hansen 400 from Richmond April 30, flat in ratings and down 1% in viewership from last year (3.7, 6.194M), and down 8% in both measures compared to 2009 (4.0, 6.671M).
The race is tied as the second-lowest rated NASCAR Sprint Cup telecast ever on FOX, ahead of only the 2009 Subway Fresh Fit 500 (3.6).
In addition, this marks the lowest rated, least-viewed edition of NASCAR’s spring Richmond race since 2006 (3.4, 5.633M, FX).
