After a decline for the early game, the second half of Sunday’s NFL doubleheader on FOX had a double-digit increase from last year.
The Week 3 NFL national window, featuring Packers/Bears in 81% of TV markets, earned a 15.8 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — up 11% from last year (IND/DEN*: 14.2, CBS), and up 25% from 2009 (PIT/CIN*: 12.6, CBS).
As is typically the case, the national window topped Sunday Night Football on NBC (PIT/IND: 13.2) and was the highest rated NFL telecast window of the day.
Earlier in the day, regional action featuring Giants/Eagles in 69% of markets drew a 9.5 overnight, down 10% from last year (TEN/NYG*: 10.5, CBS), but up 2% from 2009 (TEN/NYJ*: 9.3, CBS).
