The now-relevant Lions helped give FOX its highest NFL singleheader overnight rating in twelve years.
The Week 4 NFL singleheader, featuring Lions/Cowboys in 35% of markets, earned a 14.9 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — up 25% from both last year (BAL/PIT*: 11.9, CBS) and 2009 (BAL/NE*: 11.9, CBS).
The 14.9 is the highest overnight for the NFL singleheader window since Week 16 last year (NYJ/CHI*: 15.4, CBS), and the highest for the singleheader on FOX since 1999.
Sunday’s singleheader earned the top NFL overnight of the day, easily topping the national window on CBS (DEN/GB*: 13.6, CBS) and Sunday Night Football (NYJ/BAL: 12.7, NBC).
