ESPN has made a couple of adjustments to the schedule for the ongoing 2011-12* NBA regular season.
The February 17 Mavericks/Sixers NBA regular season game has been moved to ESPN, replacing the previously scheduled Hornets/Knicks telecast. The game will be the first Sixers telecast of the abbreviated season on ESPN.
In other news, the April 4 Thunder/Heat game has been shifted from ESPN to ESPN2 in order to make room for the Cardinals/Marlins Major League Baseball Opening Night game.
Thunder/Heat was to be the first game of a double-header. The 10:30 PM ET Clippers/Lakers game will remain on ESPN.
* The 2011-12 NBA regular season was shortened due to the owners’ five month lockout of players. The 2011 NBA lockout was the fourth work stoppage in NBA history, with all four being owner-imposed lockouts.
