Fox Sports may very well be the latest suitor for ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt.
A Fox Sports spokesman was complimentary of Van Pelt when reached by USA Today, calling the ESPN anchor a “very talented broadcaster who would be a great asset to any broadcast or cable sports network” (USA Today, 4/29).
This comes months after The Big Lead reported that NBC Sports had interest in Van Pelt.
ESPN still hopes to retain Van Pelt, whose contract is expiring.
