Through two nights, coverage of the Stanley Cup Playoffs has averaged 600,000 viewers on NBC Sports Network, up 22% from last year (490K).
On Thursday, Capitals/Bruins Game 1 drew 576,000 viewers on NBC Sports Network — up 13% from Canadiens/Bruins Game 1 last year (510K). Later in the night, Blackhawks/Coyotes Game 1 drew 499,000 viewers, up 31% from last year’s Kings/Sharks Game 1 (381K).
Over on CNBC, Sharks/Blues Game 1 drew 320,000 viewers.
