Though not quite as strong as in the first week, the 2012 London Olympics continued to put up strong numbers on NBC Sunday night.
Tape delayed primetime coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics drew a 19.5 overnight rating on NBC Sunday night, up 2% from Beijing in 2008 (19.1).
The 19.5 marks a 10% decline from Sunday night coverage one week earlier (21.7).
It is typical during the Summer Olympics for the second week of competition to earn lower ratings than the first.
