Not surprisingly down from last year’s lofty heights, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am still did well last weekend.
Final round coverage of the PGA Tour Pebble Beach National Pro-Am earned a 2.7 final rating on CBS last Sunday afternoon, down 45% from last year (4.9), but up 17% from 2011 (2.3).
Last year’s final round, the highest rated since 2001, featured a pairing of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
Despite the decline, the 2.7 rating is the second-highest for any round of the tournament since 2007.
On Saturday, third round action drew a 1.8 final rating — down 31% from last year (2.6), but up 13% from 2011 (1.6).
