Television ratings dropped slightly for the NFL on CBS during Week 6.
The Week 6 NFL singleheader window earned a 9.9 final rating on CBS last Sunday, down 1% from last year (10.0, 16.2M), but up 13% from 2011 (8.8, 14.5M). As is often the case with CBS Sports telecasts, viewership was not available.
So far this season, five of the nine NFL telecasts on CBS have had declines in ratings compared to last year.
The NFL singleheader has been a much weaker draw on CBS than FOX this season. The three telecasts on CBS have drawn ratings of 9.5 (Week 1), 8.2 (Week 4) and 9.9 (Week 6), compared to a 12.8 (Week 2), 12.5 (Week 3) and 11.7 (Week 5) on FOX.
