For the second straight week, the Houston Rockets pulled in the largest NBA audience of the week.
Last Wednesday’s Rockets/Mavericks NBA regular season game drew 2.1 million viewers on ESPN, the most-viewed game of the week. It was the second straight week that the Rockets played in the week’s most-viewed game; Rockets/Knicks the previous week attracted 2.0 million on TNT.
Since Opening Week, three of the five most-viewed NBA games have involved the Rockets.
In other NBA action last week, Clippers/Thunder earned 1.9 million viewers on TNT, followed by Pacers/Knicks on ESPN (1.8M), Warriors/Lakers on ESPN (1.7M), Bulls/Nuggets on TNT (1.5M), and Spurs/Grizzlies on ESPN (1.4).
Spurs/Grizzlies earned the third-smallest audience of the young season, ahead of only Pistons/Kings (1.4M) and Wolves/Nuggets (1.3M) the previous Friday — both on ESPN.
