FOX attracted another strong audience for the NFL singleheader window.
The Week 10 NFL singleheader window, featuring either Packers/Eagles or Panthers/49ers, earned a 12.2 final rating and 20.2 million viewers on FOX last Sunday — up 33% in ratings from coverage on CBS last year (9.2), and up 6% in both ratings and viewership from coverage on CBS in 2011 (11.5, 19.0M).
The telecast earned the season’s third-highest rating and viewership for the NFL singleheader (10 telecasts). Ratings for the six singleheader telecasts on FOX have ranged between 10.8 and 12.8, while the four telecasts on CBS have ranged from 8.2 to 9.9.
Sunday’s telecast finished just shy of the Cowboys/Saints “Sunday Night Football” game on NBC (12.3, 21.1M), marking just the second time in six tries this season that “SNF” has beaten the FOX singleheader.
