CBS earned its highest NFL singleheader rating of the season in Week 12.
The Week 12 NFL singleheader window drew a 10.2 final rating and 16.8 million viewers on CBS, flat in ratings and up 2% in viewership from coverage on the network last year (10.2, 16.4M), but down 2% and 3%, respectively, from coverage on FOX featuring Bears/Raiders in 2011 (10.4, 17.2M).
The 10.2 rating is the highest of the season for the NFL singleheader on CBS, topping coverage in Week 6 (9.9). With that said, the 10.2 still trails every singleheader on FOX this season.
As has been previously noted, the NFL singleheader has been a much stronger draw on FOX than CBS. The six windows on FOX have earned ratings between 10.8 and 12.2, while the six windows on CBS have ranged from 8.2 to 10.2.
