Barkley Interviews Obama (Sunday, 7 PM ET, TNT)
- TNT NBA studio analyst Charles Barkley conducted an interview with U.S. president Barack Obama that will air this Sunday at 7 PM. The interview will be Obama’s second on TNT, following a 2010 interview with Marv Albert. (“Inside the NBA”, 2/13)
“SC Featured: Mendota” (Sunday, 9 AM ET, 10 AM, 11 PM ESPN; 11 AM, ESPN2; 9 PM, ESPN Deportes)
- The ESPN “SC Featured” series profiles the Mendota (CA) High School football team this Sunday. In a poverty-stricken city, players support their families by balancing the typical trappings of football with grueling agricultural work in sweltering heat. The feature debuts on “Outside the Lines” before re-airing on numerous other ESPN shows. (ESPN)
“Conan” Live From the Final Four (March 31-April 3, 11 PM ET TBS)
- The TBS late night show “Conan” will travel to Dallas, TX, the week of March 31 to coincide with the NCAA Tournament Final Four. This is the second year in a row “Conan” has traveled to the site of the Final Four. (dallasnews.com)
